Biz Ops Rwanda Ltd. is a division of Stratinuity LLC and is located in Kicukiro, Kigali, Rwanda. 

It is the first of many African locations that train and upskill disadvantaged populations of developing countries to become business and technical experts who provide professional services to small and disadvantaged businesses at home and abroad.

Description

As an IT intern, you will be an integral part of our IT team, working alongside experienced professionals to support our technology initiatives. You’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, enhance your skills, and contribute to projects that drive our success.

INTERNSHIP LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

  • Create visually appealing website user interfaces that align with the client’s brand and objectives.
  • Quickly identify the source, cause, and solution to technical issues
  • Work closely with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and feedback, translating their vision into effective design solutions.
  • Implement user-centered design principles to ensure websites are intuitive, easy to navigate, and provide an exceptional user experience.
  • Develop fully responsive websites across various devices and screen sizes, ensuring a seamless user experience on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Incorporate SEO best practices into website design to enhance search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve design-related issues, ensuring the website functions flawlessly.
  • Provide guidance and direction to users who may not be tech-savvy.
  • Articulate user issues and needs to advanced-level support teams
  • Provide links for support documentation and videos to clients
  • Submit support tickets to the appropriate team members or partners on users’ behalf when required
  • Monitor and update ticket status and communicate with clients about ongoing issues
  • Publish technical support FAQ’s, knowledgebase articles, and videos when they do not exist and update outdated resources as needed
  • Identify technical support process strengths and opportunities and provide feedback to leadership about how to improve the user experience.
  • Identify solutions and ways to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in our technical support efforts.
  • Actively participate in staff and team meetings as necessary to accomplish company goals.

Preferencial Qualifications

  • Website design experience
  • Familiarity with CMS software such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla etc.
  • UI/UX design
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design best practices.
  • A portfolio showcasing your web design projects and creative abilities.
  • Experience providing technical support
